Pamela Sorensen on ‘Why She’s Blogging’

Pamela Sorensen stopped by our offices last week to do a blogging workshop. Our CEO Brian Williams knows Pamela through ExecutiveBiz - she’s the VP of Corporate Development. Pamela is a very well connected trendster who recently started a blog and was looking for some pointers.

If you want to learn about the upscale hot spots of D.C., then Pamela’s blog (Adventures of Pamela) is quickly becoming a place to go. I’m not cool though, so what was more interesting to me was Pamela’s recent articulation on why she’s blogging (Why am I doing this?):

Through a blog, I can finally have a place where I can direct friends and family to the stories, happenings, people, places, things, humorous situations, without writing it through multiple emails or phone calls. Not that I don’t want to socialize with my f/f, it is just easier to get everyone reading the same material at THEIR leisure.

The great thing about a blog is that it can be whatever you want it to be. Whether you want to use it to help your business or just give an easy way to let friends and family keep up with your adventures, it’s your little piece of the Internet.
